GRAIN SILOS
The company “KALINA - KLENSKI” OOD produces
metal silos for cereals, as wheat, maize, oats, rye, sunflower, etc,
with volume 20 to 3500 tons each. The silos are produces from
bilaterally galvanized metal sheet segments and afterwards they are
assembled through bolt connection on steel reinforced foundations
strengthened with metal columns. The foundation execution includes
construction of ventilation ducts for the grain.
On the top of the roof there are ventilation openings for direction
of the pressed air.
The temperature of the grain mass is watched by system for thermal
control, which localizes the eventual areas with increased
temperature, due to higher degree of moisture.

The company “KALINA - KLENSKI” OOD
manufactures silos for the storage of grains under the newest
technical standards. They are produced also with galvanized with
additional polymer coating as plastizol. The plastizol is connected
strongly with the galvanized metal sheet and practically has
unlimited life of exploitation. They can be performed both only for
the shutters of the silos and for the entire execution from this
long-lasting material. It can be pointed out, that the polymer
coating reflects the sun rays, and reduces the warmth of the roof of
the silo.

The storage of the grain is watched with
digital system for thermo control. The major function of the system
is for the measurement of the temperature of the grain while being
stored. The system is made of three basic parts:
– thermal drills–special steel robes, sensors and network
electronics
- visualization and processing–panels with LCD indication or mobile
device
- cable tracks;
The reading step is 0.5oC. The
maximum temperature of measurement of 127oC, and the
minimal is minus 55oC.
